Amnon Lipkin-Shahak has been a member of the NILIT Board of Directors since 2002.

Amnon is an accomplished and well-known leader in many areas, including business, the military and politics. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Board of the Tahal Group and also chairs the boards of the Peres Center for Peace and the Rabin Center. In 1999, he was elected to the Israeli Knesset and served as Minister of Tourism and Minister of Transportation.

Before entering politics, he was Chief of the General Staff in the Israel Defense Forces and he earlier held several other senior command positions.

He has a BA from Tel Aviv University.
