NILIT® Paves the way in China

Migdal Haemek, Israel, May 1st 2007 - The Israeli fiber specialist NILIT recently conducted two major conference events in China in order to raise awareness of their products and to keep local manufacturers abreast of their global activities. The conferences which took place in Yiwu and Guangzhou reflected NILIT 's vision of offering a comprehensive service to its Chinese customers and its continuing efforts to build up strong relationships with major seamless manufacturers in the region.
The event in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, was attended by more than 100 leading members of the sector and the conference in Gaungzou attracted more than 50 participants. These included manufacturers of hosiery and seamless bodywear, producers of covered yarn, as well as representatives of the media. The conference in Yiwu was officially opened by Mr. Tao, chairman of Yiwu Seamless Underwear Association.
Mr. Oded Breier, Marketing and Sales Manager of the Fibers Division, presented a comprehensive picture of NILIT 's global activities. He described the effect of the recent strategic initiatives undertaken by the company, including the acquisition of the Invista apparel production operation (in Germany), which increases NILIT's market share in Europe and enables NILIT to market TACTEL® , CORDURA® and SUPPLEX® , which are INVISTA brands used under license to NILIT, for nylon fibers produced in Israel and in Europe. The brand name Sensil® , the company's proprietary brand, together with the brands mentioned above, are all perfected for seamless, circular knitted and woven wear. Breier then expanded on NILIT's Investment project in China. With production scheduled to begin in mid 2007, the focus will be on the production of yarns suitable for seamless knitting, circular knit, hosiery and covering. The second stage will increase their capacity in spinning and texturing, and the third stage in polymerization.
Mr. Yu Hailong, Vice General Manager of NILIT® (Suzhou) Ltd., presented a detailed description of NILIT's portfolio of specialty yarns and highlighted the specific performance attributions of each yarn.
The Conference concluded with a presentation "A MELTING-POT OF FASHION" made by Ilana Joselowitz, well known Israeli fashion designer and NILIT 's global trend consultant. The presentation highlighted major new consumer directions and an overview of current Lingerie and Bodywear trends. Joselowitz emphasized that added value is now a vital demand for consumers who have become as discerning as they are fashion conscious. She continued that the challenge of the bodywear market is to create new products which provide consumers with both a feeling of well-being and comfort while making a bold individual fashion statement.
The highlight of the conference was a spectacular fashion show which was enthusiastically received by all who attended. The show featured leading seamless products from the global market place as well as concept garments created and developed in NILIT 's own studio, connecting the latest fashion trends and seamless technology to NILIT 's fibers. There was a strong focus on Activewear with an emphasis on yarns that offer flexibility as well as protective performance.
Since its establishment in 1969, NILIT has acquired worldwide recognition as a global leader in the production of nylon 66 fibers for the fashion industry and engineering thermoplastics for industrial applications. In its fully-integrated manufacturing facility in Northern Israel, NILIT controls the entire production process from polymerization to yarn processing. This enables both NILIT 's scientists and designers to engineer customized solutions for customer's specific requirements and to respond rapidly to the changing demands of the market.
