NILIT® announces the "Dawning" of a new age in Moisture Management

Company's Sensil® Aquarius joins expanded portfolio of innovative brands

Migdal Ha'emek, Israel - January 24, 2007 - NILIT® (www.NILIT.com), a global manufacturer and leader in the production of nylon 6.6, today revealed its latest addition of innovative yarns - Sensil® Aquarius - a special, modified nylon 6.6 yarn designed to wick away moisture and keep the user feeling dry and comfortable.

"We set out to create intrinsically modified nylon 6.6 yarns (that is, in the polymer itself and not a topical treatment), with special cross-sections, that improve the hydrophilic attributes of the garment/fabric that actually help move moisture away from the wearer, to give them a feeling of dryness and comfort" , says Oded Breier, the Company's Marketing and ROW Sales Manager. "As a result, our Sensil® Aquarius fibers signify a 'new age' in the development of nylon 6.6 yarns. Just like its astrological namesake, "Aquarius" the water bearer, our fibers transport moisture away from the skin through the garment and toward the air."

Generally, moisture absorbed by fibers makes garments "wet," heavy and very uncomfortable. The special "micro-channels" in the Sensil® Aquarius yarns (see image 1) "carry moisture away from the body through capillary-like structures that are formed by the bundle of filaments (see image 2)," Breier explains. "The positive effects for the wearer will be tremendous."

NILIT® plans to introduce Sensil® Aquarius at the upcoming ISPO Winter show (www.ispo.com), February 4 to 7, in Munich, Germany. ISPO is the world's largest sports trade and fashion fair. Visitors to NILIT® 's booth (Hall A2, Stand BN 47) will see its latest yarn developments and versatile range of finished sports garments, knitted and woven, from its branded fibers.
