Hanesbrands, Inc. - Nilit ® Joint Venture (HNF) - In 1996, Nilit ® Ltd. and The Sara Lee Company, announced a joint venture in Israel to produce nylon 6,6 POY yarns for texturing.

The nylon produced by this joint venture is used in intimate apparel, activewear, legwear and bodywear. Hanesbrands Inc. was spun off from Sara Lee Corporation in 2006 and became a stand alone publicly held company.

SANTONI was born in 1919 . By then it was the very first Italian socks machines builder at all.

In 1988 SANTONI joined the prestigious LONATI GROUP, world leader in the production of machines for men socks and ladies stockings.
Thanks to the development of one sophisticated technology referring to the circular system of fabric knitting, for the last twelve years SANTONI has reached a position in which machines can knit a ready-made garment without seams, i.e. , "the seamless total garment": it means one dynamic and modern fashion.

In year 2006, Nilit ® and Pompea S.p.A. of Italy announced the initiation of the new state-of-the art POY production line, through a strong and close partnership between the two, called PNF. The new line is based on advanced POY nylon fibers, which Nilit ® will produce at its main production facility in Migdal Ha'emek, Israel.
